Rooftop solar as standard
Every Casabella building carries its own photovoltaic array. At Casabella Suites it runs the entire property — the suites, the air conditioning, the pool pump, the hallway lights. At the Tower it carries the common load.
Property development · Aruba
Casabella is a family-owned developer in Aruba. A small portfolio, built for the heat and designed to run on the island's own sunlight.
About us
Casabella is family owned and family led. There is no fund behind us setting a return date and no committee to talk a decision to death — the people who choose what gets built are the people whose name goes on it.
We live on this island. Our buildings sit in towns we drive through every week, among neighbours we know by name, which quietly removes every shortcut available to a developer who is leaving once the last unit sells. It is also why we still hold the keys to the building we finished this year rather than flipping it.
Small portfolio, long horizon. We would rather put up four buildings we are proud of than forty we have to explain.
Our mission
Aruba imports the fuel it burns, and sunlight is the one input the island has in surplus. Every building we put up is designed around that arithmetic — not as a brochure line, but because it is what makes a home here cheap to live in twenty years from now.
Every Casabella building carries its own photovoltaic array. At Casabella Suites it runs the entire property — the suites, the air conditioning, the pool pump, the hallway lights. At the Tower it carries the common load.
Deep planted balconies at the Tower; a single low storey and walled green backyards at the Suites. Keeping the afternoon sun off the glass in the first place means the machines work less, and the rooms are pleasant when they are switched off.
A purchase price is paid once; a utility bill arrives every month for the life of the building. We would rather spend more on the roof at construction than hand an owner a service charge that climbs every year.
Projects
Completed 2026
San Nicolas · Aruba
Eight suites on a single floor — six one-bedroom and two two-bedroom — each with its own walled backyard instead of a balcony. Pool, barbecue and free parking on site. Built, finished and ready to let.
Palm Beach · Aruba
Seventeen ocean-facing residences over five levels, four to a floor, topped by three-level loft homes with private roof terraces. Five minutes on foot from the sand, the restaurants and the hotels.
Nothing at that stage right now.
The island
Palm Beach is the part of the island nobody needs a car for — beach, restaurants and hotels inside a five-minute walk. It is where value holds whether you live in a place or let it.
San Nicolas is the other bet: the murals, Charlie's Bar, and a town that has been getting steadily more interesting for a decade. Building there early is the point.
